Abstract

The erectile tissue mechanical property, cavernosal expandability, correlated with erectile tissue structural quality. Since cavernosal histology has been shown to predict corporal veno-occlusive function, it is hypothesized that the measurement of cavernosal expandability may become a valuable functional clinical parameter in the diagnosis and treatment of men with erectile dysfunction.
