Long‐term morbidity and mortality of transurethral prostatectomy: A 10‐year follow‐up

Abstract

TURP is associated with low reoperation rates and therefore remains the gold standard in BPH therapy. Nevertheless, follow-up of these patients must be continued, as late complications requiring intervention may occur even after 10 years postoperatively.
