Triple-Negative Breast Cancer and Obesity in a Rural Appalachian Population

Abstract

Triple-negative breast cancers within a White, socioeconomically deprived, population occurred in younger women, with later stage at diagnosis, and in association with obesity, which itself has been associated with a poor prognosis in breast cancer.
