A polymer light‐emitting device with an external quantum efficiency of 2% , one of the highest values in polymer‐based devices reported to date, had been fabricated from a blend of PDHPT (see Figure) and PDPP (poly(2,5‐diheptyl‐2′,5′‐dipentoxybiphenylene)). The optical properties of the polymers and the device are presented. A particularly important point is the processability of the active media. magnified image
