The Guillain Barre Syndrome Following Gold Therapy

Abstract

We report a patient who developed an acute polyneuropathy of the Guillain Barre type following gold therapy for seronegative rheumatoid arthritis. She was treated with steroids and dimercaprol and made a complete recovery.
