Localized subepidermal fibrin deposition-a histopathological feature of friction induced cutaneous lesions

Abstract

This paper emphasises that the localized presence of fibrin immediately below the epidermis is a frequent concomitant of skin lesions induced by friction and may provide a useful aetiological clue to support histopathological features which may otherwise be non-specific.
