The wavelengths and intensities of |$n\,=\,3\,\rightarrow\,2\,\text{and}\,n\,=\,4\,\rightarrow\,2$| transitions in Fe XVII are reduced from measurements of the X-ray spectra of three coronal regions. The observations were made using Bragg X-ray spectrometers operated on two Skylark rocket vehicles. New wavelength measurements are the given with an uncertainty of |$\pm \,0\cdot003$| Å. Relative intensities are compared with calculated values of Loulergue & Nussbaumer. Agreement is generally good except for some of the |${2p}^{6}-{2p}^{5}\,3s$| lines. A feature near |$11\cdot0$| Å in the measured spectra in tentatively identified with a blend of two previously unknown inner shell transitions.
