The Distribution of Flare Heights as Derived from Limb Flares

Abstract

In recent papers, J. W. Warwick (1955) and Constance S. Warwick (1955) have discussed the heights of flares-the former by examining the distribution of apparent areas across the disk, and the latter by measuring heights of limb flares.
