Abstract

Development of a technique for accurate measurement of the specific radioactivity of valine attached to the aminoacyl-tRNA in vivo was necessary to conduct the experiments presented in the main paper This appendix gives the details of the isolation and analysis of our prepar- ation as well as an assessment of the quality of the product.
