Studies on the Reduction of the Nitro Group in 4-Nitroindazoles by Anhydrous SnCl₂ in Different Alcohols

Abstract

The synthesis of new 7-alkoxy-4-amino-protected indazole and 4-amino-protected indazole derivatives by the reduction of the nitro group of 4-nitroindazoles using anhydrous stannous chloride in different alcohols is described. Keywords: 7-Alkoxy-4-aminoindazoles4-nitroindazolesSnCl2/alcohol
