PREVALENCE OF SIGNIFICANT CAROTID STENOSIS IN CHINESE PATIENTS WITH PERIPHERAL AND CORONARY ARTERY DISEASE

Abstract

The prevalence of extracranial carotid stenosis in Chinese patients is not low. Patients with peripheral arterial disease have the highest risk of significant carotid stenosis: routine carotid duplex screening in these patients is recommended.
