Patients Undergoing Sinus Surgery: Constructing a Demographic Profile

Abstract

A novel integration of national and state databases can be used to create a demographic profile of patients undergoing surgery for CRS. The creation of this profile enables further study of representative populations of patients with CRS and enables thoughtful analysis of the existing literature. The difficulty in creating the profile highlights the need for complete and accurate healthcare information collection by national and state agencies.
