Abstract

Induction of cellulase complex with different carbon sources (monomers, dimers, polymers, etc.) was studied in Myceliophthora thermophila D-14. Lactose was found to be the best carbon source for the induction of cellulase. It was also noted that induction of cellulase biosynthesis occurred when inducers having β-linkages in their molecules were used.
