Transient negative toxoplasmosis serology is a frequent phenomenon in children with congenital toxoplasmosis. Although the underlying pathophysiological mechanism remains unknown, it is crucial to avoid questioning the initial diagnosis of congenital toxoplasmosis and to continue regular routine monitoring.
