ALBUMIN SYNTHESIS AND RIBONUCLEOPROTEIN 455 5. Evidence is provided for the presence in extracts of rat liver of a substance that can be bound to rat albumin. The specificity of this binding factor is examined. The results of the experiments on the synthesis of serum albumin are interpreted in the light of these findings.
