Wound Healing Activity of Annona muricata extract

Received on:12-10-2008; Accepted on:09-01-2009 The wound healing activity of alcoholic extract of stem bark of Annona muricata was evaluated in albino rats by open wound method for a period of 12 days. Extract showed marked reduction in area of the wound in comparison with that of the control group from 4th days onwards suggesting its possible use in healing the wound.
