Adsorption of metal ions on yeast cells at varied cell concentrations

Abstract

Adsorption isotherms for adsorption of metal ions on yeast cells were determined at varied cell concentrations. The mass of adsorbed metal per unit weight of the cells at an equilibrium metal concentration was largely dependent on the cell concentration. An experimental equation was presented, relating the included parameters.
