Marine ornamental fish resources of Lakshadweep

Abstract

The marine aquarium fishes,
\nreferred to as marine 'ornamental' fishes
\nalso in recent years, are known to be
\nabundant in the tropical seas particularly in
\nthe regions in the sea which are rich in corals,
\nsea weeds, sea grasses and also in the
\nregions which have rocky bottom. The
\nLakshadweep islands in the eastern Arabian
\nSea constitute one such region.
