Abstract

We demonstrate the effectiveness of a network control technique for load-sharing multiphase interactive power networks (IPNs) using radio-frequency (RF) based wireless communication. We investigate the impacts of time delays and communication-channel disruption on the stability and performance of such IPNs. Further, in case of communication link disruptions, we present network protocols that can be used to reroute data or to decompose the nominal network into smaller clusters. Such a wireless network control scheme may lead to a more redundant/reconfigurable design for IPNs, while ensuring that the performance and stability bounds are not violated.
