Abstract

As ground waters are increasingly used for water sources, contamination of ground water has become a problem in some areas. Among the contaminants are pesticides, trace elements, and nitrate—nitrogen. These contaminants are now being studied, and ways are being found to prevent or rectify their intrusion.
