A lead-free multiferroic ceramic of BiFe<sub>0.96</sub>Sc<sub>0.04</sub>O<sub>3</sub>–BaTiO<sub>3</sub> is a type of ABO<sub>3</sub> perovskite structure, belonging to the <italic>R</italic>3<italic>c</italic> space group, but exhibiting poor insulation and weak multiferroicity.
