Abstract

In ICA occlusive disease, selective neuronal damage demonstrated as decreased BZR is associated with borderzone infarction, suggesting that hemodynamic ischemia leading to borderzone infarction may cause selective neuronal damage beyond the regions of infarcts in the chronic stage.
