Abstract

Perioperative blood transfusion promotes the recurrence of HCC after hepatic resection in patients with hypo-albuminemia. In transfused patients, establishment of strategy for recurrence based on pTNM staging, tumor size, ICGR15, and age may be required to improve survival.
