A poly(polyoxometalate)-polymer hybrid block copolymer (H-BCP) was prepared<italic>via</italic>ring-opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP). The H-BCP self-assembles into hybrid micelles with a poly(polyoxometalate) shell and a polymer core in acetonitrile.
