Clinicopathological features and outcome of hepatic resection for liver metastasis from gastric cancer.

Even though it is rare, a survival time of 5-years can be achieved by resection of gastric cancer metastatic to the liver. These results suggest that a patient with liver metastasis from gastric cancer has a greater chance of surviving long-term if there is no lymph node metastasis at the primary site.
