Abstract

Estrogen inhibits the aggregation of platelets, but such inhibition is highly dependent on the presence or absence of the PlA2 polymorphism of GPIIIa. However, in the presence of aspirin, the inhibitory effect of estrogen on aggregation was no longer detectable.
