Abstract

The results of this prospective, randomized study show that TXA reduced the amount of postoperative hemarthrosis and decreased the need for aspiration of the knee after arthroscopic ACL reconstruction. Consequently, TXA reduced pain and improved range of motion of the knee in the early postoperative period without side effects.
