Abstract

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy patients with the malignant Arg719Trp mutation have more extensive hypertrophy than those with the benign Leu606Val mutation. This findings suggests that the prognostic significance of beta-MyHC mutations is reflective of their hypertrophic expressivity.
