A new type of zero-voltage-switched (ZVS) push-pull current-fed DC-DC converter with two synchronous rectifiers in the secondary circuit is presented. ZVS is realized using the magnetizing current of the transformer as a constant current source during the commutation. The output voltage is controlled by PWM (pulse-width modulation) with a constant switching frequency. The circuit operation is described using equivalent circuits. The steady-state and dynamic characteristics are analyzed and confirmed experimentally.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
