Successful use of tigecycline for treatment of culture-negative pyogenic vertebral osteomyelitis

Abstract

Tigecycline should be considered as an alternative agent for the treatment of PVO in selected patients due to microbiological activity against resistant gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
