Studies of the electrical resistivity in Ce x La 1- x Cu 2 Si 2 are reported through the characterization of normal and superconducting CeCu 2 Si 2 . The Kondo temperature in Ce x La 1- x Cu 2 Si 2 is almost independent of the cerium concentration, about 10 K. The characteristic temperature of the heavy fermion state in CeCu 2 Si 2 is 1–2 K, being one order smaller than the Kondo temperature.
