The purpose of the present study was to explore the relationship between paternalistic leadership and classroom teachers’ satisfaction from supervisor and satisfaction from work. Data in this study was obtained from 309 classroom teachers working at primary schools in Bolu province in the academic year of 2010 - 2011. Data in this study were collected using satisfaction from supervisor, satisfaction from work and paternalistic leadership scales. Mean, correlation and stepwise regression test were used in data analysis. The results of Pearson correlation analyses indicated that paternalistic leadership was related to the satisfaction from supervisor and satisfaction from work. The regression analyses revealed that paternalistic leadership was significantly predictor of satisfaction from supervisor and satisfaction from work.
