The electric properties of YBa2Cu3O7−δ/Au interfaces were investigated. An electric contact better than 108 Ω−1/cm2 was obtained at 4.2 K for the interface. There existed, however, a normal layer between the superconducting bulk and the gold electrode, preventing the observation of the proximity effect and the quasiparticle tunneling for this material.
