Optometry Australia Entry‐level Competency Standards for Optometry 2014

Abstract

Competency standards have been updated so that they continue to be current and useful for the profession, individual optometrists and Australian and New Zealand registration authorities for the purposes of accreditation of optometric programs and assessment of overseas-trained optometrists. This paper details the revision process and presents the 2014 version of competency standards for entry-level to the profession of optometry in Australia.
