Abstract

A case of double pylorus, occurring in a 75-year-old woman, was diagnosed by gastroscopy. Review of previous X-ray examinations suggested that this was an acquired lesion. A 2nd case is described, in which a channel formed between two gastric ulcers, illustrating the way ulcer disease can lead to a double lumen. It is hypothesized that the formation of a double pylorus occurs in a similar manner.
