This article details the winners of three National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) Ecological awards for companies that have created asphalt plants that not only do a better job of protecting the environment, but also have an attractive appearance that conveys a sense of responsibility to passersby. The awards include one for a new facility (won by a Preston Asphalt plant in Ft. Smith, Arkansas), and two for existing facilities (plants in Marietta, Ohio, and Morristown, Ohio, both owned by Mar-Zane Inc.).
