Populus clones by component (wood, old). The fuel and chemical content holocellulose, alpha-cellulose, lignin, wood/bark specimens i~dicated that: I) wood was higher in holocellulose and alph -cellulose content than bark; 2) bark was higher in gross heat of combustion, lignin, extractive, and a h content values than wood; and 3) conrbined wood/ bark fuel and chemical content values were sually between the individual values for the wood and bark. 1 within and among c ones.Within the chemical content values more Populus hybrid clones investigated w~ll depend on component and age with limijed parentage effects.
