YBa 2 Cu 3 O y superconducting thick films have been prepared on Y 2 BaCuO 5 substrate by the screen printing and sintering method. The critical temperature T c and current density J c at 77 K in an absence of magnetic fields were extremely high as compared with the films printed on the other ceramic substrates such as MgO, SrTiO 3 and YSZ, and were 86 K and 3000 A/cm 2 , respectively.
