Abstract

A set of investigations including CRP, TLC, ANC, thrombocytopenia, cytoplasmic vacuolization in the neutrophils and GAC for polymorphs are highly sensitive in detection of culture negative cases of neonatal sepsis. Moreover, a combination of three tests enhances the sensitivity of these tests.
