Survival of patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma: Sorafenib versus other treatments

Abstract

Considering the survival benefit for sorafenib over other treatments in patients with extrahepatic spread and massive/infiltrative intrahepatic tumors, these characteristics might be regarded as compelling indications for sorafenib.
