Abstract

Genital tuberculosis is a major cause of many gynaecological problems and poses a diagnostic dilemma to gynaecologists. Infertility is one of the most common presentations of genital tuberculosis. The poor prognosis in respect of conception lends considerable importance to endometrial tuberculosis and its early diagnosis. Histological study of endometrium which is routinely done in such cases is not always adequate for diagnosis. (excerpt)
