Abstract Results of the single crystal x-ray, dielectric and conductivity studies of Cs5H3(SO4)4H2O are reported. It was shown that a dynamically disordered acid hydrogen bond network is responsible for high protonic conductivity in this crystal. The glass like dielectric dispersion has been detected below 260 K which is probably releated to the freezing of the acid hydrogen bond and water molecules.
