Abstract

Abstract Ternary component polymer complexes have been prepared from poly(acrylic acid) and poly(methacrylic acid) with complementary polymers, such as poly(vinylpyrrolidone) and poly(ethylene oxide). The formation of ternary complexes, selective complexation, and mutual compatibility of the complementary polymers attached to the same polycarboxylic acid chain, have been studied by several techniques, such as viscometry, turbidimetry, potentiometry, conductometry, and IR spectra.
