Wind energy plays an important role in growth of renewable resources exploitation both for plants number and installed power. This paper presents a model that, in planning activities, makes possible to evaluate, with a probabilistic analysis and calculation of some reliability indices as EENS, LOLP and LOLE, network adequacy also for those cases in which many wind farm are installed. The presented approach is applied to 152 buses test system. Compared to deterministic methods, results help to find more accurate optimum size of wind plants, taking account of network reliability.
