TLDR

Most samples were chemically purified after bombardment, their activity followed for two or more half‑lives using gamma ionization chambers, gamma scintillation counters, or Geiger‑Mueller counters, and the data were analyzed by least‑squares fitting. Thirty radionuclide half‑lives were reported, with some values significantly differing from earlier measurements while others confirmed established values.

Abstract

AbstractHalf-lives of thirty radionuclides are reported. Most of the samples were chemically purified after bombardment. In general, the activity of a given sample was followed for two or more half-lives, employing a gamma ionization chamber, gamma scintillation counter, or a Geiger-Mueller counter. The data were analyzed by the least squares method. Some of the half-life values are significantly different from earlier ones; others merely confirm those already established.
