Platelet count and neonatal sepsis: a high prevalence of Enterobacter spp.

Abstract

Our study shows the changes in the pattern of late onset neonatal infections in the neonatal intensive care unit. Enterobacter spp. is the most common organism causing neonatal sepsis accompanying thrombocytopenia.
