Foot care education in patients with diabetes at low risk of complications: a consensus statement

Abstract

There is currently little evidence-based literature to support specific foot care practices. Patients with diabetes at low risk of developing complications should be encouraged to undertake a basic foot care regimen to reduce their likelihood of developing complications.
