Neutron Field Characteristics in a Concrete Cavity Having a DT Neutron Source

Abstract

Neutronic parameters in a small room surrounded by the thick concrete wall have been measured and compared with the Monte Carlo calculations. The experimental setups were designed appro-Oriately for each neutronic parameter, and a variety of measuring techniques were applied. The comparisons of both measured and calculated results showed excellent agreement.
