The length–weight relationship of 21 species of fish from a coastal lagoon in the southwestern Gulf of California was estimated. These species were obtained as bycatch from the artisanal shrimp fishery. A total of 8522 specimens were used to estimate the parameters of the relationship, as well as at least 100 organisms per species. Differences between sexes were not found in any species. The slope (b) showed values between 2.5 and 3.5.
