Estimation of mortality and morbidity risk in vascular surgery using POSSUM and the Portsmouth predictor equation

Abstract

The POSSUM methodology combined with the P-POSSUM adjustment for death allows satisfactory prediction of mortality and morbidity rates in patients undergoing vascular surgery.
